Shipping Policy
KateAndSon.com — Kate and Son
Last updated: 1 January 2026
At KateAndSon.com, we aim to process and deliver your order as efficiently as possible.
This Shipping Policy explains how orders are processed and delivered to customers in the United Kingdom.
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under applicable UK consumer law.
1. Shipping to the United Kingdom
We currently offer delivery to addresses within the United Kingdom.
Available delivery options and the applicable delivery charges will be displayed during checkout before you complete your purchase.
The delivery options available may depend on your delivery address, the products ordered and other relevant circumstances.
2. Delivery charges
Any applicable delivery charges will be clearly displayed during checkout before you place your order.
The total amount payable, including any applicable delivery charges, will be shown before you complete your purchase.
For statutory cancellations, the cost of our cheapest standard delivery service will generally be refundable in accordance with our Returns & Refunds Policy.
Where you have selected a more expensive delivery option than our cheapest standard delivery service, we are generally only required to refund the cost of the cheapest standard delivery option.
3. Order processing
Orders are processed after payment has been successfully received and the order has been accepted.
We aim to process orders without undue delay.
Processing times may vary depending on:
-
product availability;
-
order volume;
-
weekends and public holidays; and
-
circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Where a specific processing or dispatch timeframe is stated at checkout or on the product page, that information will apply to your order.
4. Estimated delivery times
Any delivery timeframe shown on KateAndSon.com or during checkout is an estimated delivery timeframe, unless we have expressly agreed a specific delivery date or period with you.
Delivery times may be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including:
-
courier or postal delays;
-
severe weather;
-
public holidays;
-
transport disruption;
-
customs or border procedures where applicable;
-
technical problems; or
-
unusually high order volumes.
We will take reasonable steps to minimise delivery delays.
5. Delivery address
Please ensure that your delivery address is complete and accurate when placing your order.
KateAndSon.com cannot be responsible for delays or failed delivery resulting from incorrect or incomplete delivery information supplied by the customer, subject to your statutory rights.
If you realise that you have entered an incorrect delivery address, please contact us as soon as possible:
We will try to assist where possible, but we cannot guarantee that an address can be changed after an order has been processed or dispatched.
6. Delivery times under UK consumer law
For consumer purchases, where no different delivery period has been agreed, applicable UK consumer law generally requires goods to be delivered without undue delay and no later than 30 days after the contract is entered into.
If we fail to deliver within an agreed or legally applicable timeframe, you may have additional statutory rights depending on the circumstances.
Nothing in this Shipping Policy limits those rights.
7. Delayed deliveries
If your order has not arrived within the expected delivery timeframe, please contact us:
Please provide your order number and delivery details.
We will investigate the delivery status with the relevant delivery provider where appropriate.
If a delivery delay gives you a legal right to cancel the contract, we will respect your statutory rights.
8. Lost or missing parcels
If tracking information indicates that your parcel has been delivered but you have not received it, please contact us as soon as possible.
We may ask you to:
-
confirm your delivery address;
-
check whether the parcel has been left in a safe place;
-
check with household members or neighbours where appropriate; and
-
provide any relevant information requested by the delivery provider.
We will investigate the matter and take appropriate steps in accordance with applicable law.
Your statutory consumer rights are not affected by this process.
9. Damaged parcels
If your parcel arrives visibly damaged, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible:
Where possible, please provide photographs of:
-
the outer packaging;
-
the shipping label; and
-
the damaged product.
Please retain the packaging and product until we have advised you what to do.
If the goods themselves are damaged or otherwise do not conform to the contract, your statutory rights under applicable consumer law will apply.
10. Tracking
Where a tracked delivery service is used, tracking information may be provided by email or through the relevant delivery provider.
Tracking information is provided to help you follow the progress of your order.
The availability and level of tracking information may depend on the delivery service selected.
11. Delivery to another person
Where you have provided a delivery address and nominated another person to receive the goods on your behalf, delivery to that person may constitute delivery to you where permitted by applicable law.
You are responsible for providing accurate information regarding any nominated recipient.
12. International delivery
Unless expressly stated otherwise at checkout, this Shipping Policy applies to deliveries within the United Kingdom.
If KateAndSon.com offers delivery to another country, additional delivery charges, customs requirements, taxes or import duties may apply.
Any applicable international delivery terms will be communicated before you complete your purchase.
13. Customs and import charges
For deliveries where customs or import procedures apply, the customer may be responsible for applicable customs duties, import taxes or other charges where this is clearly communicated before purchase and permitted by applicable law.
For standard UK deliveries where no international import process applies, no separate import charge should arise solely as a result of delivery within the UK.
14. Orders containing multiple products
If an order contains multiple products, the products may be dispatched together or separately depending on availability and fulfilment arrangements.
Where products are delivered separately, this does not affect your statutory cancellation rights.
For cancellation purposes, where an order is delivered in separate parcels, the relevant cancellation period generally runs from receipt of the last item.
15. Returns and refunds
For information about cancelling an order, returning goods or receiving a refund, please see our:
Returns & Refunds Policy
If you are exercising your statutory right to cancel, you generally have 14 days from receiving the goods to notify us of your cancellation and a further 14 days to return the goods.
For faulty, damaged or misdescribed goods, different statutory rights may apply.
To contact Customer Service:
The return address will be provided by our Customer Service team when you contact us regarding a return.
16. Events outside our reasonable control
We will not normally be responsible for delivery delays caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control.
These may include:
-
extreme weather;
-
natural disasters;
-
strikes or industrial disputes;
-
transport disruption;
-
government action;
-
war or civil unrest;
-
significant postal or courier disruption;
-
major technical failures; or
-
other circumstances that could not reasonably have been prevented.
Where such circumstances affect your order, we will take reasonable steps to minimise the impact and communicate with you where appropriate.
Nothing in this section limits your statutory consumer rights.
